CLAS supports the research of affiliated faculty projects through
the award of:
• Research
and curriculum development grants
• Travel awards for participation in conferences abroad
• Working Groups on issues
related to Latin America and the Caribbean.
Affiliated
faculty also give public lectures at the Center and contribute
to the CLAS Working Papers Series. Their work
is regularly featured in the Berkeley
Review of Latin American Studies and on the Faculty
Research page of the web site.
Travel
Grants:
CLAS encourages increased linkages between the U. S. and Latin
America by supporting faculty travel to professional meetings
and to conduct field research. Travel funds are awarded on
a rolling basis.
